Privacy & website analytics
Updated September 8, 2026We use website analytics to understand how people find OREST Express, which services interest them, and whether our marketing brings inquiries. Analytics runs on our own website hosting and starts only when you allow it.
Your choice
You can allow or decline website analytics.
What analytics records
- Visit times, page paths, referral website and available referral path, campaign tags (UTM), and supported advertising click identifiers when included in the link.
- Pages and sections viewed, contact and outbound links clicked, forms started, and forms accepted by the website’s mail handler.
- Measured active time, scroll depth, device category, browser, operating system, language, time zone, and screen and browser window dimensions.
- Approximate country, region and city using a database stored on our hosting. The full IP address is used transiently for this local lookup; analytics stores only a truncated IPv4 /24 or IPv6 /48 network.
- A random browser identifier and session identifier to estimate unique and returning visits. These identifiers do not tell us your name.
Analytics does not record passwords, text typed into forms, session video, precise GPS location, or unrelated browsing history. Arbitrary URL query strings and referral query strings are removed. The analytics dashboard is password protected and intended for our authorized team.
Cookies and browser storage
A first-party oe_consent cookie remembers your choice for 180 days. When you allow analytics, local storage entries oe_visitor_v1 and oe_session_v1 hold random identifiers. A visit expires after 30 minutes without activity. Declining or withdrawing analytics clears those identifiers and stops future collection. Your browser’s Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track setting also disables collection.
Previously collected visit records expire automatically after 180 days. Withdrawing consent stops future collection; it does not automatically remove past records. If you need help with a privacy request, contact info@orestexpress.com.
Contact forms and applications
Information you deliberately submit through a contact or driver application form is emailed to our office or HR so we can respond. Form contents are not stored in the analytics database. The analytics record may indicate that a form was accepted by the mail handler, associated with the visit’s source and campaign. Acceptance does not guarantee delivery to an inbox.
Hosting and external links
Hostinger hosts the website and may process operational access and security logs separately from this analytics feature. If you follow a link to another website, that website’s privacy practices apply. We do not send visitor IP addresses to an external geolocation API. Approximate location data comes from DB-IP and can be inaccurate, particularly for VPNs and mobile networks.
